ERIN
Associate Theater Teacher
Erin K. Moffat has had a passion for the arts since childhood, and has been performing since a young age. In 2012 she performed, wrote, directed and choreographed an original musical entitled Bucket List of Unbroken Dreams: Erin K. Moffat The Musical. She has spent much time volunteering and working with local youth directing and choreographing many productions like You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Willy Wonka KIDS, Peter Pan Jr. and Tom Sawyer. She has worked behind the scenes on several Feature Films as a set costumer and Make-Up Artist. A graduate of NVCC, Erin was an active member and officer of the Terpsichorean Dance Ensemble, and a founding member of the New Zenith Theatre Company. A few years back while writing for a popular woman’s blog, she attended a few press junkets and had the amazing opportunity of interviewing the casts of Night at the Museum 3, and My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2.
She’s served as the Lead Acting Coach for URock Studio, and studied Theater/Acting with Emmy Award winner Ed Wierzbicki. Most recently, Erin helped found the Beacon Falls Youth Theater Group-The BFYTG. Erin loves having the opportunity to share her experiences with budding thespians. Erin always tells her students that we have much to learn from each other. All the world may be a stage, but we are all constantly learning.
