Associate Voice Teacher
Meg Markwith is so excited to be a part of the team at Voice by Chelsea!
She is a Connecticut based musician with a passion for building students into well-rounded musicians. She holds a Bachelor of Music in oboe performance from the University of Hartford’s The Hartt School and a Master of Education in Kodály Music Education from Loyola University Maryland. Since graduation, Meg has performed in many ensembles as well as cultivating a love of teaching. She has worked with vocalists in private and group settings from childhood to adulthood, and has found joy in watching her students grow in skill and confidence.
From musical theater to pop music, Meg is most inspired when working on repertoire that her students love.
She looks forward to building a strong foundation that her students can take to any style of music, be it in a casual setting or professionally. Students who are looking for a comprehensive lesson in which they can better their vocal skills and overall musicianship will love their lessons with Meg!
